Random Elven Princess
I’ve always hated doing portraits for “real people”. People expect you to be as close as possible to their facial features, and at the same time not to insist too much on what they regard as imperfections.
I remember arguing for days with an aunt of mine who claimed the nose I painted was way too big, while according to my opinion it was even smaller than what it should have been. This is why lately, for study purposes, I have been copying random faces picked up from the Internet. It’s nowhere near like painting from live models, but at least they can’t complain.
This is the last one I’ve done, she looked somehow elfish, and since NO illustrator can help having at least an elf princess in his portfolio, here you go.
